Men from Core and our gatherings, telling in full what changed for them.

I originally attended the inaugural Path of Manliness Skills Camp in the summer of 2025 with a fairly practical goal in mind: to learn useful skills and gain knowledge that I could apply in everyday life. While the skills themselves were valuable, what surprised me most was the camaraderie and sense of brotherhood that emerged throughout the camp.
Through the experience, I formed several genuine friendships that continued long after the event ended. What began as conversations over a single weekend developed into meaningful relationships with men who have become trusted friends, sounding boards, and sources of encouragement in my life.
I later attended the Fall Camp and subsequently joined one of the newly formed Orthodox teams. That proved to be an important next step. The regular interaction not only strengthened existing friendships but also helped foster new ones, while providing a level of accountability, focus, and spiritual encouragement that has been tremendously beneficial.
I recently got married, and as I reflected on the wedding, one thing stood out to me in particular: how many men from the Path of Manliness community made the effort to be there. Their presence meant a great deal to me and spoke volumes about the quality of the relationships that have been built through this brotherhood.
One of the realities of modern life is that forming close friendships becomes increasingly difficult as we get older. It is rare enough to make a new, genuine friend in middle age; it is even rarer to find a community through which you gain several. Looking back, that has been the greatest and most unexpected benefit of my involvement with Path of Manliness. The skills and activities first attracted me, but the friendships, accountability, and brotherhood are what have kept me involved and what I value most today.

I am a 50-year-old freelance contractor, working remotely and independently. Due to changes in my industry and the demands of life, I was struggling with stress, overwhelm and frustration. Over time I found my work and financial life stagnant and falling behind, especially as I allowed the usual vices that many of us men fall into. This also impacted my friendships and especially my romantic relationship. When she left, I was crushed and felt stuck in paralyzing depression. I was tired of failing. I resolved to get the support I needed out of necessity.
Path of Manliness Core helped me get moving again. Their support and structure empowered me to finally leave vice and bad habits behind, and instead to realign with what is important: rebuilding myself into a capable man and a responsible steward for my future family, aligned with God’s will for my life.
The structure of the program, the weekly calls, and the daily check-ins are helping me to succeed in this, day by day. I finally have the appropriate support that all men need: a circle of brotherhood. I highly recommend this group if you are done with mediocrity, with constantly failing, collapsing or disappearing.
We as men fight specific battles that only other men could understand. You’re not broken, you just need brotherhood.

I have joined Core end of July 2024. I was looking for true accountability, and a community influenced by Christianity which I had started to investigate as a formerly secular person.
Core provided me both. More than that, I could flesh out a vision for myself, grounded in reality, based on timeless Christian principles. And get together with men (and only men) with conservative values which was nothing like what I had access to in the past.
Joining a Core team is not like ‘chilling and vibing’ with friends, nor working hard with colleagues you also compete with, nor connecting randomly with strangers. It is about teaming up with men you respect and hold accountable to their word, within the team and in their life.
It is about setting the course of our life, and witness one another’s integrity, or lack thereof.
You do not join a team to be nice to others, psychoanalyse your feelings, or throw men under the bus. You join in order to commit to Truth, both in celebration and in confrontation.
It gave me a solid foundation for setting up the basics in my life in a moment where I needed a reset. And it delivered in ways better than I could have ever imagined.
Before starting I was jobless, with barely no male friends, and stuck in my parent’s house. 18 months in, it gave me the stability, support, accountability and encouragement I needed to leave the home, start to make money, and make decisive steps towards basically having a life of my own.
It also helped me navigate conflicts and relationship issues with people from a previous chapter of my life as I entered a new one.
Truly a space any man would benefit from in some way shape or form.

Core has been the brotherhood that I needed during a difficult time of my life. I entered while in the middle of a career transition thinking I had my life well under control and didn’t need much help. The process of accountability and goal-setting, however, proved to be a central part of what allowed me to complete this transition. In the process, I also realized that these mechanisms built into Core have become an indispensable part of my weekly and quarterly routine.
The fellowship that I have developed inside of Core has proved to be a natural complement to my local accountability structures (family, church, friendships, local men’s groups and so on). In Core, one has the opportunity to be held accountable and to learn resilience in a way that almost no other setting in regular life provides you.

Working with the men of Core brought structure into my life, supporting me in clarifying my purpose and continuously holding me accountable to pursue it. Daily check-ins and weekly meetings with my Core team keep me on track with my practices, habits, and quarterly goals. I didn’t know how much I needed this!

Core is pure male spirit at its best. It is where I have found a band of brothers who help me to live a life of purpose and meaning with full hearted, clear and honest reflections on my progress.
